Matthew Chowen – Virtual CFO

I work alongside Founders, Senior Management and Boards providing CFO, advisory & execution capabilities. Areas of expertise include: Strategy, governance, international structuring, financial control, capital raising & exits.

I moved to Wellington in 2013, first working at StarNow before moving to Deloitte where I specialised in providing “Virtual CFO” services to high growth companies. In late 2018, I left Deloitte to pursue my interest in high growth SaaS companies independently as both a Virtual CFO and Investor.

Previously in London, I worked in a diverse range of accounting, finance & banking roles at PwC, Lehman Brothers & Barclays.

I am a UK qualified Chartered Accountant.
